Configuring WebLogic Domain for SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 on Windows Vista 32 bit OS

Prerequisites
Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0
Repository Creation Utility should be executed (Steps for executing RCU11.1.1.3.0)
JDK1.6 and WebLogic10.3.3

Configuring Domain
Open command prompt as Administrator, and browse directory Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/common/bin

Run config.cmd file (It can be run directly but I am sharing what I did)
 
 Configuration wizard should starts



Select “Create a new WebLogic domain” and click on Next button


Select appropriate check boxes, in my case I had selected above options


Keep the default values and click on Next button


Fill the fields and click on next button, this username and password will be needed when you run webLogic and managedWebLogic and even for log in to enterprise manager


Keep the default values and click on next button

Provide database information, schema owners and their passwords which you had provided in the process of running Repository Creation Utility, click on next button




Click on Test Connection button, all component schemas statuses should be OK, Click on Next button


Click on next


Click on Create button


Click on Done button

[Deployer:149164]The domain edit lock is owned by another session in exclusive mode - hence this deployment operation cannot proceed.

I faced the problem server giving me error "[Deployer:149164]The domain edit lock is owned by another session in exclusive mode - hence this deployment operation cannot proceed ." when I tried to redeploy the application on intergrated weblogic server of Oracle JDeveloper 11. I could not solved this issue even I restarted my computer. anyhow it is solved let me explain the steps which I did for it . 1. go to admin console of weblogic on my integrated weblogic the address were http://127.0.0.1:7101/console 2. login to server console by using defaul user name password which would be username:"weblogic" and password :"weblogic1". 3. on successful login check the button on your upper left corner where you can activate pending changes or discard pending changes. click on that button. issue would be solved. ERROR: No j2ee modules detected in EAR archive. Deployment aborted. == (oracle.jdeveloper.deploy.VetoableDeployException)

When I was deploying application to EAR file I was keep receiving error message from my Jdeveloper that "ERROR: No j2ee modules detected in EAR archive. Deployment aborted. == (oracle.jdeveloper.deploy.VetoableDeployException)" I am having two projects in my application 1. Model (Having ejbs) 2. ViewController To resolve this issue, go to application properties and select Deployment Edit your deployment profile Select EE modules to include in ear file Doing this solved my issue. Cheers...!
